Wooden paddle steamer flying the flag of Prussia . The ship was built in Berlin in 1828 for the Berlin Steamship Company . In 1833 the paddle steamer was sold to the Prussian Sea Handling in Berlin and burned in 1838 after an accident on the Elbe .

Inland passenger ship "Berlin" from 1840

Wooden paddle steamer flying the flag of Prussia. The ship was built in 1840 at the Carmesin shipyard in Stettin for the Prussian Sea Trade , Berlin. The machine for the paddle steamer was manufactured at the mechanical engineering institute of Seehehandling in Berlin-Moabit . Initially, the ship was used on the Berlin - Hamburg route. In 1847 the machine was converted and improved. From 1848 the paddle steamer was used as a tug in Berlin and finally sold in 1851.

Steamship flying the flag of Prussia. The ship was built in 1864 at the Kessler shipyard in Greifswald for the stock company for steam shipping in Berlin and Cöpenick . In 1888 the ship became the property of the Stern steamship company and was sold in 1899.

Steamship flying the flag of the German Empire . The ship was built in 1880 at the Dresdner Maschinenfabrik and shipyard in Dresden-Übigau for C. Stahlkopf in Magdeburg as Louisa in the so-called Finow dimension . In 1918 the steamer was taken over by Julius Krümling in Magdeburg and renamed Berlin . After Krümling went bankrupt in 1930, the ship was sold to Karl Schaff in Breslau . Schaff had the machine expanded and the ship used as a barge .

Initially, the ship came into the possession of the skipper Graal in 1930, later Behncke & Mewes became owners of the ship. At the beginning of the Second World War , the ship was confiscated by the German Navy and used on the Danube and in the Black Sea .

The ship changed hands several times. After Strack, P. Stahlberg from Schluft near Groß Schönebeck became the owner of the tugboat; the Berlin was last owned by the skipper Streichau from Hartum near Minden . The ship was scrapped around 1930.

Wooden steam boat under the flag of the German Empire. The ship was built in 1883 at the Eduard Stuhm shipyard in Stettin for the skipper Heinrich Maaß in Berlin. In 1899 the ship was rebuilt at the Gustav Koch shipyard and received a more powerful engine. The New North German River Steamship Company in Hamburg took over the ship in 1918 and renamed it Oranienburg . A short time later, however, the ship was canceled.

In 1898 the ship was taken over by the Spree-Havel steamship company Stern and renamed Berlin . After the Second World War, the ship remained in the former Soviet occupation zone and later in the GDR with the Potsdam transport company . In 1965 it was decommissioned.

In 1930, the New North German and United Elbeschiffahrts-Gesellschaft in Hamburg took over the ship and renamed it Berlin . The conversion to a motor ship took place in 1950. The ship was then renamed Oldenburg and used on the Rhine .
