The municipality of Lora del Río includes another 104 parishes in the province of Seville. It is located in the Guadalquivir Valley , east of the city of Seville, from which it is about 57 kilometers away. Its geographical position is between 5º 23 '5' 'west longitude and 37º 35' and 37º 46 'north latitude. The main population center, at an altitude of about 38 meters above sea level, is at the mouth of the Guadalquivir with its tributary Churre Strom in an almost central position on its territory.
