The Lower Subansiri district (literally: "Lower Subansiri", Subansiri is a large river on the eastern edge of the district) is a district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh . The Lower Subansiri District was formed on May 13, 1980 by dividing the Subansiri District Frontier Division .
