Lyubow Wassiljewna Morgunowa ( Russian Любовь Васильевна Моргунова , English transcription Lyubov Morgunova ; born January 14, 1971 in Naberezhnye Chelny ) is a former Russian marathon runner .

Her first big success was winning the Twin Cities Marathon in 1997 in 2:30:43. The following year she was seventh at the Nagoya Marathon and at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest and second at the Beijing Marathon in 2:28:51. In 1999 she won Nagoya in 2:27:43, came second in the Amsterdam Marathon and won the Zevenheuvelenloop .

In 2000 she came eighth at the London Marathon and 23rd at the Sydney Olympic Games and won the Honolulu Marathon . Third place at the 2001 Boston Marathon and eighth place at the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton was followed by defending his title in Honolulu at the end of the year.

Almost two years later, she returned to competition with a win at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon . In 2004 she won a third time in Honolulu, and in 2005 she was sixth in Boston and fifth in Honolulu.

She was third each in the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon 2006 and the Nagano Marathon 2007, and at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka she finished tenth.

In 2008 she won the Antalya Marathon on the half marathon route, won the Rotterdam Marathon with her personal best of 2:25:12 and came ninth in the New York City Marathon . In 2009 she finished fourth in the Los Angeles Marathon , came 32nd at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin and came second in the Singapore Marathon .
