Münnich Motorsport is a German motorsport team that is active in the rallycross and gran turismo disciplines and also took part in the FIA GT1 world championship. The team is usually listed in connection with the name of the main sponsor as ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport .
history
The founder and owner of the team is the Saxon entrepreneur René Münnich , whose company ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich is also present on the vehicles as the main sponsor. Between 2006 and 2011, Münnich Motorsport only used racing cars from the manufacturer Lamborghini , which were developed by Reiter Engineering , in GT racing .
Gran Turismo
In 2006 , a Lamborghini Murciélago R-GT was entered in the GT1 category for the first time in the FIA GT Championship under the name All-Inkl.com Racing . ALL-INKL.COM was also involved as a sponsor of the B-Racing RS Line Team. In 2007 the team started again. Up until the season highlight of the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race , the team fielded two Lamborghinis; then only one more. The driver pairing Christophe Bouchut and Stefan Mücke achieved a victory in the first race of the season in Zhuhai and a second place in Bucharest . At the end of the season they shared tenth place in the drivers' championship and Münnich Motorsport in seventh place in the team championship. As ALL-INKL.COM Racing , the team fielded a Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 for René Münnich and Christophe Bouchut in some races in the ADAC GT Masters .
Münnich Motorsport returned to GT racing in 2010. As one of two teams, it fielded two Lamborghini Murciélago LP670 R-SVs in the newly announced FIA GT1 World Championship . Marc Basseng was hired as driver and team manager this year. He shared a vehicle with Thomas Jäger , Christophe Bouchut and Ricardo Risatti . The team’s second vehicle was driven by Dominik Schwager and Nicky Pastorelli for the entire season . Münnich Motorsport did not reach a podium and was ninth in the team standings.
In 2011, Münnich Motorsport continued to compete in the FIA GT1 World Championship with two Lamborghini Murciélago LP670 R-SVs . The driver pairings remained unchanged throughout the season: Nicky Pastorelli and Dominik Schwager drove one Lamborghini , Marc Basseng and Markus Winkelhock the other. The driver pairings achieved two double victories at the race weekend on the Circuito de Navarra as well as a double victory by Basseng and Winkelhock in the qualifying and main races in Zolder . After the Swiss Racing Team - the second Lamborghini team - withdrew from the championship prematurely, Münnich Motorsport, together with the Luxembourgish team DKR Engineering, deployed two more Murciélago LP670 R-SVs under the name DKR www-discount.de to get the to guarantee the necessary number of starters in the remaining overseas races.
With the change in the technical regulations of the FIA GT1 World Championship to the GT3 group , Münnich Motorsport changed the vehicle in 2012 : the two Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3s were driven by the pairings Thomas Jäger and Nicky Pastorelli as well as Marc Basseng and Markus Winkelhock.
Rallycross
Münnich Motorsport currently uses Škoda vehicles in the German Rallycross Championship (DRX) and the European Rallycross Championship (ERC). Team owner René Münnich was champion in various classes of the German Rallycross Championship in 2007, 2009 and 2010. Münnich's fiancée, Mandie August, also drives for the team in the EM and DM rallycross races. Another driver is Clemens Meyer from Fintel from Lower Saxony .
