The M16 ( Croatian / Bosnian Magistralna cesta or Serbian Магистрални пут / Magistralni put ) is a main road in Bosnia and Herzegovina . It leads from the Croatian border at Gradiška to the Croatian border at Kazaginac .

The M16 begins in Bosanska Gradiška at the Croatian-Bosnian-Herzegovinian border crossing Stara Gradiška / Bosanska Gradiška. Between Bosanska Gradiška and Banja Luka , the route runs parallel to the newly built Gradiška – Banja Luka motorway . From Banja Luka to Jajce via the towns of Krupa na Vrbasu and Bočac , the main road always runs parallel to the Vrbas river . The road leads via Donji Vakuf , Bugojno , Kupres and Livno to the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-Croatian border crossing at Kazaginac / Kamensko .

The name of the street as M16 goes back to the nomenclature of the streets in socialist Yugoslavia in 1987.
