Maddix (real name: Pablo Rindt; born December 3, 1990 ) is a Dutch DJ and music producer from Eindhoven . His songs are regularly played at the largest EDM festivals around the world, making him an important representative in the big room and progressive house sector. He is currently under contract with Revealed Recordings , with whose label founder Hardwell he has also collaborated.

Career

Beginnings

Rindt grew up musically, so he learned to play drums and piano as a child. At the age of 15 he discovered dance music for himself. A year later he bought FL Studio and started producing music himself. From then on, he published his productions on smaller labels under the name Maddix. He also played as a DJ in local bars. While he was studying at the University of the Arts in Utrecht in 2013 , DJ stars such as Afrojack and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike became aware of him through his free releases. Hardwell was particularly interested in his publications on Armada Trice .

It was first released in 2014 under a sub-label of Spinnin ' . The track Raise Em Up was played by Dyro on his radio show Wolv Radio . With further remixes for Calvin Harris , Dannic and Sick Individuals , among others , Maddix established himself in the scene.

Breakthrough & collaboration with Revealed

Maddix's international breakthrough came in 2015 with the song Riptide . This was performed by Ummet Ozcan on the Tomorrowland Mainstage and was part of the Hardwell presents Revealed Vol. 6 compilation. This began a closer collaboration with Revealed Recordings: other of his songs such as Ghosts , Voltage and Dirty Bassline were successful releases under this label. A first collaboration with Hardwell came about with the collaboration Smash This Beat , which appeared in July 2017 on Hardwell & Friends EP # 1 . The solo single Trabanca was able to build on the success and reached number 1 on the Beatport charts.

Maddix is ​​also listed in the credits to Hardwell's intro song Conquerors . The bootlegs for Bella Ciao and Eminem's Lose Yourself , which Hardwell regularly plays live, are also said to have been collaborated by Maddix.

He mixed a total of 6 issues of Revealed Radio (# 32, # 85, # 114, # 130, # 147, # 167) and together with Kaaze and Suyano the Sound of Revealed 2016 . He is an integral part of the line-up of Revealed stages at major festivals such as Ultra , Mysteryland and 7th Sunday. On August 11, 2018, he was the headliner of a major festival. Together with Revealed colleague Kaaze, with whom he had already toured China, he played the closing at the Lakedance Festival in front of 20,000 visitors.

Maddix claims to be a ghost producer.
