← Magners League 2009/10 |
The 2010/11 season of the Magners League , the championship hosted jointly by Irish, Welsh, Scottish and, for the first time, Italian rugby teams, began in September 2010. The regular season consisted of 22 match days (one preliminary and one second round) and lasted until the 6th May 2011. The best four teams played in two semi-finals to participate in the final. Compared to last season, the championship has been supplemented by two Italian teams. Munster Rugby won the final on May 28, 2011 .
The defending champion Ospreys was fined 100,000 pounds and started the season with a deduction of four points for illegally pushing through the postponement of an away game in the preseason. After an appeal, the point deduction was suspended for two years.
