Maja Beckmann (* 1977 in Herne ) is a German actress .

Live and act

Maja Beckmann was engaged in the ensemble of the Bochumer Schauspielhaus from 2001 to 2013 , where she also completed an apprenticeship from 2002 to 2005 . There she played in numerous productions, among others directed by Jürgen Kruse , Matthias Hartmann and Elmar Goerden . From 2013 to 2015 Maja Beckmann played theater in the ensemble of the Staatstheater Stuttgart .

Maja Beckmann is known to a wider audience as Sabine "Sabbel" Buhrer in the TV series Stromberg . She played her first leading role in a movie in The Austrian Method , which was released in German cinemas in 2008. In addition to her, Veronika Bayer , Marita Breuer , Waldemar Kobus and Laurens Walter participated . The feature film celebrated its world premiere at the Hof Film Festival . From the 2016/17 season Maja Beckmann was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Münchner Kammerspiele . Beckmann has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Zürich since the 2019/20 season.

The work Dionysos Stadt , directed by Christopher Rüping , was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen 2019.
