In the following six centuries the village was under the administration of the castle rights of the Maltese. In 1840 Mukarow consisted of 23 houses with 139 inhabitants. The parish was in Krasilau . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village always remained subservient to Strakonitz.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Mukarov / Mukarow 1850 a district of the municipality Pracejovice in the district administration and the judicial district Strakonice. In 1921 Mukarov broke away from Pracejovice and formed its own community. At that time the village had 188 inhabitants. Makarov has been used as an official place name since 1924 . In 1959 land was bought south of the village to create the Mladiny recreational area. In 1964 Makarov was again incorporated into Pracejovice. Between 1972 and 1980 the inhabitants built a swimming pool in the valley of Stružný potok below Mladiny. Makarov had 50 inhabitants in 1991.
