Mario Dolder (born June 22, 1990 ) is a Swiss biathlete .

Life

Mario Dolder made his international debut in 2007 as part of the IBU Cup junior races . He ran his first major event later in the season with the 2008 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding , where he was 58th in the individual, 77th in the pursuit and eleventh in the relay. A year later he won the bronze medal in the sprint in Canmore behind Kurtis Wenzel and Erlend Bjøntegård. In pursuit, Ludwig Ehrhart and Tomas Kaukėnas pushed past him and he finished fifth, and 19th in the individual. Later that year, Dolder took part in the roller ski junior races of the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof , where he finished 26th in the Sprint, 32 in pursuit and nine in relay. At the 2010 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Torsby , the Swiss finished seventh in the individual, 35th in the sprint and 14th in the pursuit.
