Martin Van Geneugden
Martin Van Geneugden (born January 21, 1932 in Zutendaal , † July 8, 2014 in Genk ) was a Belgian cyclist and national champion in cycling .
Athletic career
He won the national road racing championship for amateurs in 1950 . From 1953 to 1963 he was active as a professional driver, before he started one year in the independent class . In the Tour de France , he was able to win six stages in seven participations. He achieved his best overall ranking with 27th place in 1958 . He was able to record a total of 43 victories in his professional career. In 1961 and 1962 he won a total of four stages of the Tour of Germany . In 1964 he ended his career.
