Michael Seibert (born January 1, 1960 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is a retired American figure skater .

Seibert started in ice dancing , his partner was Judy Blumberg . Seibert and Blumberg won their first world championship medal at the world championship in Helsinki in 1983 with bronze behind the Britons Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean as well as Natalja Bestemjanowa and Andrei Bukin from the Soviet Union. The same result was repeated at the 1984 World Cup in Ottawa . At the 1985 World Championships in Tokyo , the ice dancing couple won their third bronze medal in a row, this time behind Bestemjanowa and Bukin and Marina Klimowa and Sergei Ponomarenko from the Soviet Union. Seibert and Blumberg took part in two Olympic Games . In 1980 in Lake Placid they took seventh place and in 1984 in Sarajevo they came fourth.

After his competitive career, Seibert became a choreographer and worked in this role at the ice revue Stars on Ice .
