Milan Vilotić (born October 21, 1986 in Belgrade , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player . The currently without clubs defender was from 2018 to 2020 at St. Gallen FC under contract.

Career

The Serb began his professional career at FK Čukarički . This was followed by positions at FK Roter Stern Belgrade and Grasshopper Club Zurich . During the winter break of the 2013/14 season , Vilotić moved to BSC Young Boys in Bern . On February 28, 2017, Vilotić switched back to the Swiss record champions Grasshopper Club Zurich and signed a contract until June 30, 2018.

On July 4, 2018, he signed a one-year contract with FC St. Gallen . He left this again in summer 2020.

Bone tumor

In August 2010, after a medical examination, Milan Vilotić was diagnosed with a malignant bone tumor on his right shoulder blade, which threatened to end his playing career. After surgery in Bologna and a period of recovery, doctors confirmed in January 2011 that he could play professional football again.
