- Focus: film

"An exciting thriller in the decisive moments, which is above the average of common genre products."

- DVD & Video Report

“The exciting story of self-deception, guilt and destructive obsessions was staged by the director Phil Joanou ('Eiskalte passion') as an atmospherically dense suspense crime thriller, which knows how to convince both with the precise portraits of its multi-layered characters and the artfully choreographed action sequences . Based on a template by bestselling author James Lee Burke, this oppressive bayou thriller is a real highlight of its genre. "
