The Mittlere Ebrach (also called Mittelebrach ) is an approximately 25 km long, right and southwestern tributary of the Rauhen Ebrach in the Bavarian Upper Franconia .

The Middle Ebrach rises at an altitude of about 440 m above sea level. NHN southwest of Ebrach -Kleingressingen on the northern slope of the Kreuzberg , only about 1 km as the crow flies from the source of the Reichen Ebrach , whose course begins on the south side of the same mountain.
It flows mainly in an easterly direction into the district of Bamberg and always parallel to the federal road 22 (also called the street of the residences ) via Ebrach and Burgwindheim to Burgebrach -Grasmannsdorf, where it is at an altitude of 261 m above sea level. NHN flows into the Rauhe Ebrach from the right.
Its approximately 25.3 km long run ends about 179 meters below its source, so it has an average bed gradient of 7.1 ‰.

Flora and fauna
