In the men's team competition , the title went to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles this year . The tournament started on May 9th with Team Regionals . The 16 best teams determined the national champions in the final from May 16. In this second phase, all games took place on the University of Georgia campus in Athens . The final took place on May 20th.
