NGC 3334 is a lenticular galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Little Leo in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 322 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 105,000 ly. 
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy NGC 3304 .
The object was discovered by William Herschel on March 17, 1787 .
