NGC 3319 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Great Bear in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 33 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on February 3, 1788 .
