Nadeschda Alexejewna Makrogusowa ( Russian: Надежда Алексеевна Макрогузова , English transcription : Nadezda Makroguzova; born April 2, 1997 in Krasnodar ) is a Russian beach volleyball player .

Career

Makrogusowa achieved fifth place with Anna Gorbunowa at the U18 European Championships in Brno in 2012 . A year later, the duo only had to admit defeat to the Brazilians Duda and Tainá Silva in the final at the U19 World Cup in Porto . Makrogusowa played her first FIVB World Tour tournament at the Anapa Open with Darja Rudych and also the first Grand Slam in Moscow . Then she won the U18 European Championship in Maladsetschna in the final against the German duo Schneider / Welsch with the same partner . At the end of the year she competed in Xiamen and Phuket with her sister Jekaterina and in Durban with Gorubunowa.

At the 2014 European Championships in Quartu Sant'Elena , Makrogusowa / Rudych came third in the group in the first knockout round, in which they had to admit defeat to the Spanish duo Liliana / Baquerizo . Before and after, they finished two ninth places in satellite tournaments of the CEV , while they did not make any top positions on the World Tour. They were eliminated early at the U21 World Cup in Larnaka . After that, however, they were fifth in the U19 World Cup in Porto and ninth in the U22 European Championship in Fethiye . At the U20 European Championships in Larnaka, she won the bronze medal with Swetlana Cholomina . Then she was with Motritsch at the Open tournaments in Sochi and Antalya each ninth.

On the World Tour 2016, 17th place in Sochi was the best result for Makrogusowa / Motrich. At the U21 World Cup in Lucerne , Makrogusowa / Cholomina only lost in the final against the Brazilians Duda and Ana Patrícia . At the 2016 European Championships in Biel / Bienne , she competed with Anastassija Barsuk . As third in the group, the duo lost to the Swiss Betschart / Hüberli in the first knockout game . At the U22 EM in Thessaloniki Makrogusowa finished fifth with Cholomina. In 2017 she formed a new duo with two-time Olympian Jekaterina Birlowa , who finished ninth at the first joint FIVB tournament in Fort Lauderdale . In Baden Makrogusowa / Cholomina won the U22 European Championship with a final victory against the Romanians Matei / Vaida . Makrogusowa / Birlowa lost the CEV Masters at the same location against the German duo Laboreur / Sude . Cholomina has been Makrogusowa's partner on the FIVB World Tour since 2018 . They won the 1-star tournament in Anapa and were able to repeat last year's success at the U22 European Championship in Jūrmala . In some 4 and 5 star tournaments they achieved top ten placements. The Russians continued their series of successes on the World Tour 2019 .
