Nash Light Six and Nash Standard Six were car models of Nash Motors from the 1920s.

Nash Light Six

The Nash Light Six appeared in May 1926. It had the internal model number 220. In principle, it was just a renamed model as the successor to the Ajax by the Ajax Motors Company . The six-cylinder in - line engine with SV valve control , 76.2 mm bore , 101.6 mm stroke and 2779 cm³ displacement achieved 40 bhp (29 kW) at 2400 rpm. A two-door coupé was added to the two four-door bodies. The expectations of the management, who wanted to increase the sales figures by renaming the car, were met: 60% more were sold than in the previous year. The year 1927 brought slightly different body lines, so that softer lines resulted. There were no technical changes. A two-door sedan and a four-door luxury sedan were added.

Nash Standard Six

In the 1928 model year, the Light Six was renamed the Standard Six, Model 320 . The engine was bored out to 3017 cm³ (bore × stroke = 79.4 mm × 101.6 mm) and now made 45 bhp (33 kW) at 2600 rpm. The radiator got a bit higher and the four-door luxury sedan was replaced by a landaulet . For the first time there was also a two-door convertible.

In 1929 the wheelbase of the 420 model was lengthened to 2858 mm, the engine output rose to 50 bhp (37 kW) at 2800 rpm while the displacement remained the same. The new, even taller and narrower radiator had a herringbone pattern.

In 1930 the new Single Six replaced the Standard Six and its larger sister model, the Special Six .
