The 1993/94 season was the 72nd season of Nationale 1 , the highest French ice hockey division . The Dragons de Rouen became champions for the fourth time in the club's history .

mode

In the first phase of the season, the league was divided into four groups of four teams each. The first two in each group qualified for group N1A in the second phase of the season, while the last two in each group had to compete in group N1B in the second phase of the season. The four top four in group N1A qualified for the final round, whose participants then played off the champions among themselves in the playoffs. The other four teams in group N1A then competed against each other in the third phase of the season in the placement round for fifth place. The teams in group N1B then played in the third phase of the season in placement rounds for 9th and 13th place. Each team received two points for a win and zero points for a defeat.
