Naundorf , Glinsk in Lower Sorbian , is a district of the town of Forst (Lausitz) in the Spree-Neisse district of Brandenburg .

Naundorf is located in Lower Lusatia on the border with Poland . Neighboring places are the villages of Strzegów and Mielno in Poland in the rural community of Gubin in the north and northeast, Sacro in the east, the city of Forst (Lausitz) in the south, Mulknitz in the southwest, Bohrau in the west and Briesnig in the northwest.
The part of the municipality Neu Sacro belongs to Naundorf . The federal road 112 runs west of the Naundorf district.
history
Naundorf was first mentioned in a document on October 16, 1544 and at that time belonged to the Benedictine monastery of Guben. From 1635 Johann Georg I of Saxony owned the place. In 1740 the minister Heinrich von Brühl acquired the places in the vicinity of Forst.
The village church of Naundorf was built in the 17th century . In 1818 it got a church tower . The organ was bought second-hand in 1902 from the organ builder Wilhelm Kummer from Minden .
After the Congress of Vienna , Naundorf, like all of Lower Lusatia, came to the Kingdom of Prussia . There the place was in the district of Bohrau in the district of Sorau (Lausitz) . After that Naundorf was in the Cottbus district until 1952 . On July 25, 1952, Naundorf was assigned to the newly formed Forst district in the Cottbus district and, after the reunification, was in the Forst district in Brandenburg . After the district reform in Brandenburg on December 6, 1993 , Naundorf came to the newly formed Spree-Neisse district and was incorporated into the town of Forst (Lausitz) .
