Nicholas Pryor
Nicholas Pryor (* 28. January 1935 in Baltimore , Maryland as Nicholas David Probst ) is an American actor . In his 60-year Hollywood career, Pryor played in over 180 film and television productions.
life and career
Nicholas Pryor was born in Baltimore to Dorothy and J. Stanley Probst, a manufacturer of pharmacists. He became an actor and made his Broadway debut in 1957 in The Egghead . In the following years he performed several times on Broadway . He took on his first television roles in the late 1950s. On American television, Pryor was best known for his appearances in well-known soap operas such as All My Children , Young Dr. Malone , The Nurses , Another World , The Edge of Night and Love is a Many Splendored Thing . While these soap operas were less well known in German-speaking countries, he also took on guest roles in series classics such as M * A * S * H , Our Little Farm , The Denver Clan , Dallas and Mord ist her hobby . Between 1994 and 1997 he played in the popular series Beverly Hills, 90210 recurring the role of A. Milton Arnold , the Chancellor of California University.
Since the 1970s, Pryor has also regularly appeared in supporting roles for movies. Most recently, Pryor played in a number of television series and took on minor cinema roles, such as The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 1 (2014) and Doctor Sleeps Awakening (2019). Nicholas Pryor has been married to actress Christine Belford in third marriage since 1993 .
