Niederhohndorf has been a district of Zwickau since December 4, 1952 , which has been the district town of the Zwickau district in the Free State of Saxony since 2008 . The place was incorporated into Zwickau together with Pöhlau and Auerbach . Niederhohndorf is located in the Zwickau-Nord district and has the official number 33.
Geographical location
Niederhohndorf is located northwest of the city center. In the north and west Niederhohndorf borders on Oberrothenbach , in the south on Weißenborn and in the east on Crossen and Pölbitz .
history
Niederhohndorf was first mentioned in 1347. The Niederhohndorfer fiefdoms and interest belonged to the council of the city of Zwickau around 1553, around 1590 the place was Amtsdorf, which until 1856 belonged to the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon Office of Zwickau . Niederhohndorf was ecclesiastically parish to Mosel until 1529 , since then the place has belonged ecclesially to Weißenborn. Around 1696 there was a little mountain shouting in Niederhohndorf . Over the next 30 years, four treasure troves were built in the corridors of Niederhohndorf and Helmsdorf , in which gold-bearing sand was sought.
