history

Nová Ves was founded after 1780 by the owner of the Zámrsk estate, Georg Jenik Zásadský, knight of Gamsendorf , across from Zámrsk on the road to Janovičky. The village was first mentioned in writing in 1787.

In 1835 the village of Neudorf or Nowawes , located in the Chrudim district , consisted of 33 houses in which 183 people lived. The village was only separated from Zamrsk by a bridge over the Loučná. There was an inn in the village. The parish was in Zamrsk. Until the middle of the 19th century the village remained subordinate to the allodial property Zamrsk.

After the abolition of patrimonial Nová Ves formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Zámrsk in the judicial district Hohenmauth . From 1868 the village belonged to the political district Hohenmauth . In 1869 Nová Ves had 215 inhabitants and consisted of 36 houses. Since the end of the 19th century, more houses have been built around the inn at the Poststrasse intersection. 185 people lived in Nová Ves in 1900, compared to 199 in 1910. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph I , an imperial linden tree was planted in the old part of Nová Ves, after which the location was also named Lipová . In 1930 the village had 238 inhabitants. The bridge over the Loučná to Zámrsk was rebuilt in 1959. In 1960 Nová Ves was assigned to the Okres Ústí nad Orlicí . In the 2001 census, there were 222 people in the 67 houses in Nová Ves. Today the state road bypasses Nová Ves to the west.

The Nová Ves district is part of the Zámrsk cadastral district.
