Nuno Alexandre Tavares Mendes (born June 19, 2002 ) is a Portuguese football player who is under contract with the first division club Sporting Lisbon . The left full-back has been a Portuguese U19 international since September 2019 .

Career

Nuno Mendes began his football training at the age of nine with FC Despertar from Casal de Cambra . After a short time he was discovered by Scouts Sporting Lisbon and taken to the youth academy of the capital city club. There he played in various age groups, before the left -back for the first time in May 2019 trained with the first team and the preparation for the season 2019/20 sporadically in the men spent. Ultimately, however, he was assigned to the U23 team for the time being, where he quickly established himself as a regular player.
