Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen (born June 13, 1986 in Sherman Oaks , California ) are American actresses and entrepreneurs .
The Olsens are dizygoti twin sisters who appeared on television as toddlers and who gained worldwide fame from the late 1980s through the television series Full House .
