The men's light welterweight boxing competition (up to 64 kg) at the 2012 Olympic Games in London was held from July 31 to August 11, 2012 in the Exhibition Center London . 28 boxers took part.

The competition was carried out in a knockout system . It started with the 1st round, which included 32 starting places. Since only 28 boxers qualified, four athletes byes were drawn. The winners made it to the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals. The winners of the semifinals competed for the gold medal, both losers received the bronze medal.
