The men's bantamweight boxing competition (up to 56 kg) at the 2012 Olympic Games in London was held from July 28 to August 11, 2012 in the Exhibition Center London . 28 boxers took part.

The competition was carried out in a knockout system . It started with the 1st round, which included 32 starting places. Since only 28 boxers qualified, four athletes byes were drawn. The winners made it to the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals. The winners of the semifinals competed for the gold medal, both losers received the bronze medal.
