As it turned out in June 2016 during the doping re-test of the International Olympic Committee, the Kazakh girl Sulfija Tschinschanlo had obtained her gold medal by unauthorized means. For this reason, this medal was revoked. In November 2016, Moldovan Cristina Iovu's silver medal was withdrawn .
