At the XXIII. During the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , two skeleton competitions were held. The venue was the Olympic Sliding Center , just like the bobsleigh and luge competitions. This facility offered space for 7,000 spectators and was two kilometers long and 1.40 m wide. In 2017, test events for all three sports were held on the track, which cost the equivalent of 115 million US dollars. There were a total of 50 quota places, 30 of which were for men and 20 for women, two of which were host places. The decisions were made in a men's and a women's competition, both of which were held in four rounds.
