Oona-Léa von Maydell (* 1985 in Possenhofen , Bavaria ) is a German actress , artist and curator .

Life

The daughter of Claude-Oliver Rudolph and Sabine von Maydell grew up in Bavaria and France and went to the Waldorf school in Saarbrücken . From 2006 she was seen in German television productions. In 2007 she played the leading role of Minou in the television drama A late girl alongside Fritzi Haberlandt and Matthias Schweighöfer .

From 2004 to 2007 von Maydell studied painting at the Saar College of Fine Arts and from 2007 to 2010 at the State University of Fine Arts - Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main . In 2013 she graduated from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main with a master's degree in Curatorial Studies .

In the feature film The Bunker , she played the main role of the mother. The film premiered on February 7, 2015 at the 65th Berlinale and was released in German cinemas on January 21, 2016.

Her first short film La Ruche premiered in the short film competition at the 39th Max Ophüls Preis film festival in Saarbrücken.
