Sabine von Maydell

Sabine von Maydell (born October 9, 1955 in Baden-Baden ) is a German actress and author .

Life

Sabine von Maydell is the daughter of the director Rolf von Maydell and the actress Gisela Hoeter . After secondary school, she attended a language school. She was already working as a voice actress at the age of 13. After further speaking lessons with Ellen Widmann and Rosemarie Fendel , she took acting lessons with Jacques Lecoq and Philippe Gaulier in Paris.

She received engagements at the Schauspielhaus Zürich , the Schauspiel Bonn , the Modern Theater, the Kleine Komödie and the Theater am Einlass in Munich as well as at the Théâtre des Capucins in Luxembourg , where she is in Heiner Müller's Quartet, Merteuil, directed by Franz-Josef Heumannskämper , played. She went on several tours and was engaged at the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel.

From October 1984 to March 2014 she was married to the actor Claude-Oliver Rudolph . She has a daughter, Oona-Léa von Maydell , who is also an actress, and a son, Davide-Lino von Maydell.
