Oscar Julius Leopold von Nolte (born August 1, 1835 in Scharanowitz, † April 2, 1913 in Neustrelitz ) was a Prussian officer and landlord in Pomerania.

Life

He was the son of Julius Ludwig Theodor von Nolte (1804–1876) and his wife Auguste Leopoldine Friederike, born von Schmiedeberg (1815–1868). Since April 2, 1872 he was married to Julie Karoline Wilhelmine Marie von Behr (1849-1918), with whom he had a son Johannes Ludwig Friedrich Felix von Nolte (1877-1959). Due to the wedding he became lord of the manor at Vargatz near Gützkow in the Greifswald district , which was separated from the Behrschen Gut Schmoldow , which her sister Anna Julie Mathilde Helene Carola Charlotta (1865-1896) got, who later became General of the Cavalry Friedrich von Rauch ( 1855–1935) married.

Nolte attended the St. Maria Magdalena grammar school in Breslau .

Nolte was initially a porter ensign in the Guard Rifle Battalion . As a second lieutenant he joined the Guard Jäger Battalion on February 9, 1856 and was transferred to the Rhenish Jäger Battalion No. 8 on March 10, 1857 . In 1872 he was named captain in the Lauenburg Jäger Battalion No. 9 and also around 1872 as a teacher at the war school in Anklam . Subsequently, he was employed as a company commander in the 6th Baden Infantry Regiment No. 114 , until Nolte was appointed director of the Metz War School on September 20, 1876 under position à la suite of this regiment as a major . In 1883 he lived temporarily in Bensheim in Hesse . He lived in Dessau around 1900 . After that he was permanently present in Vargatz. On September 15, 1904, he was given the character of a colonel . Nolte was a knight of honor of the Order of St. John .
