LEDA / PGC 41377 ( NGC 4486A ) is an elliptical dwarf galaxy from the Hubble type E2 in the constellation virgin on the ecliptic , the 32 million light from the estimated Milky is removed. Together with twelve other galaxies, it forms the NGC 4442 group ( LGG 288 ) and is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 1327 . She is a companion of the giant galaxy Messier 87 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4478 , IC 3440 , IC 3443 , IC 3459 .
