The PNC Park is the home of the MLB -Baseballteams Pittsburgh Pirates and is in direct line of sight to downtown Pittsburgh on the other side of the Allegheny River . You look directly at the yellow-painted Roberto Clemente Bridge , which is named after a former Pirates player, Roberto Clemente . The park has been completely smoke-free since the beginning of the 2007 season, and even the cigar lounge has been closed.
The sports facility has been named after the name sponsor PNC Financial Services since 1998 , the acronym standing for both Pittsburgh National Corporation and Provident National Corporation .
PNC Park appears in a scene from the film Jack Reacher with Tom Cruise.
