Pakistan Open 2006

The Warid Pakistan Open 2006 took place from November 18-25 , 2006 in Islamabad , Pakistan . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2006/07 and belonged to the Super Series Silver category . It was endowed with $ 85,000.

Defending champion Thierry Lincou reached the final again, in which he defeated Grégory Gaultier 11: 8, 6:11, 11: 5 and 11: 5. For Lincou it was the 18th title on the World Tour.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Arshad Iqbal Burki a spot in the main draw.
