The Palacio Municipal de Deportes San Pablo is a multifunctional hall in the Spanish city of Seville , Andalusia . The sports and event facility was opened in 1988 and hosts, among other things, the home games of the CDB Sevilla basketball team . The hall offers space for 7,626 spectators, all seated, and can be expanded to a capacity of around 10,000 if necessary.
In addition to the home games of CBD Sevilla regular international in the arena sporting events, including the 1991 IAAF World Indoor Championships , the 1997 European Aquatics Championships , the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in 1998, the BWF World Championships in 2001 , the 1996 European Men's Handball Championship and the World Cup in 2013 as well the 2007 European basketball championship .
