The passenger ship Palladium was built in 1977 at the ÖSWAG shipyard in Linz , Austria and sails in charter for the Cologne-Düsseldorfer .

history

After construction, the ship was dismantled into eleven parts and brought to Lake Zug , Switzerland by truck . There it was reassembled and operated under the name Zug on the lake until 2003 . Then the ship was bought from a ship broker, the superstructure was removed and the hull was transported to Basel by truck . The hull was then taken to Zaandam , the Netherlands, by ship. After the sale to the current owner, Aqua-River-Line in Bemmel , it was shipped to the Van Gemert shipyard in Nijmegen . There a new ship was built on the hull in 2006. The drive motors, heating, generators were replaced and a bow thruster was installed.

Furnishing

The Palladium is a two-deck ship. The air-conditioned saloon with a maximum of 183 seats and multimedia facilities is located on the main deck. There is also a handicapped accessible toilet and a bar. The main deck is easily accessible with a wheelchair. The upper deck offers space for up to 150 people. The ship is approved for a maximum of 200 passengers.
