After the Allard shipping company had been operating the Warsteiner on the Rhine since 1994 , it signed a charter contract with the shipping company HADAG Seetouristik und Fährdienst AG in Hamburg for a period of seven years for another ship at the beginning of 1995. She commissioned the Nieuwe Scheepswerfen Sint Barbara in Maasmechelen , which had already built the sister ship, to build the ship. On September 1st, 1995 the ceremonial baptism in the name of Warsteiner Queen took place at the St. Pauli-Landungsbrücken . Then HADAG used them for tours in the port of Hamburg and as a party ship. Since the Warsteiner Brewery no longer extended the advertising contract, the shipping company signed a contract with the Dortmund Brewery & Wells Group from January 2002 and renamed the ship Jeverland on January 26, 2002 . When the Hamburg shipping company did not renew the charter contract at the end of 2002, the Köln-Düsseldorfer expressed interest in the Jeverland , because they needed a passenger ship with a shallower draft than the previously used excursion ship Treis-Karden for scheduled traffic on the Moselle . In February 2003 the owner transferred the ship to Cologne, where a charter contract with a term of seven years with an option for a further three years was concluded with KD. From March 26, 2003, the Cologne-Düsseldorfer started using the ship on the route from Koblenz to Cochem . As part of the advertising campaign for the 2011 Federal Horticultural Show , it was painted in the official design of the major event in 2009 and was renamed BUGA Koblenz 2011 on April 21, 2009 . The Cologne-Düsseldorfer optionally extended the charter contract in 2010 until 2013. On February 28, 2013, Personenschiffahrt Allard terminated the charter contract with the Cologne-Düsseldorfer and sold the ship to the Rainer Abicht Elbreederei in Hamburg. In March the ship was transferred to the Behrens shipyard on Finkenwerder . There it was painted in the colors of the new owner. On April 26, 2013, Alida Gundlach christened the ship at the Landungsbrücken under the new name Fantasia .
