Pan American Games 2011 / Athletics - Women's Hammer Throw

The women's hammer throw at the 2011 Pan American Games took place on October 24th at the Telmex Athletics Stadium in Guadalajara .

14 athletes from eleven countries took part in the competition. Yipsi Moreno won the gold medal with 75.62 m, which was also a new record for the Pan American Games. Silver went to Sultana Frizell with 70.11 m and Amber Campbell secured the bronze medal with 69.93 m.
