Parowa ( German Springborn ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Nidzica (urban and rural community Neidenburg ) in the powiat Nidzicki ( Neidenburg district ).
Geographical location
Parowa is located in the southwestern center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , nine kilometers east of the district town of Nidzica ( German Neidenburg ).
history
Before 1945 was Springborn one for state forest green flow associated with forestry and from 1874 in the Gutsbezirk , Gutfließ, forestry in the same administrative district in the East Prussian district of Neidenburg incorporated. In 1910 Springborn had nine residents.
On September 30, 1929 Springborn came to the municipality of Modlken (1938 to 1945 Modelkau , Polish Módłki ), within which it formed a residential area .
As a result of the war, Springborn was transferred to Poland within the whole of southern East Prussia in 1945 and was given the Polish form of name "Parowa". Today the small Osada leśna (= forest settlement) is a village in the Gmina Nidzica (urban and rural municipality Neidenburg ) in the powiat Nidzicki ( Neidenburg district ), until 1998 the Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then part of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship .

Until 1945 Springborn was parish in the Protestant church Muschaken (Polish: Muszaki ) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union , also in the Roman Catholic Church Neidenburg in the Diocese of Warmia .
Today Parowa belongs on the Protestant side to the church in Nidzica within the diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland and on the Catholic side to the parish Muszaki in the Archdiocese of Warmia .

A side road leads to Porowa , which branches off from Voivodship Road 604 at Módłki (Modlken , 1938 to 1945 Moddelkau) . Parowa can also be reached directly from Zdrojek (1938 to 1945 Schnepfenberge ). There is no connection to rail traffic .
