Pauline Annette Machtens (born June 28, 2002 ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Machtens has been playing at Bayer 04 Leverkusen since summer 2014 - initially for various youth teams . For the B-Juniors she played in the Bundesliga West / Southwest from 2016/17 to 2018/19 and during this time she played in 51 competitive games, scoring 14 goals. For the 2019/20 season, she signed a two-year contract for the Bundesliga team. On November 3, 2019 (9th matchday), she came on for Sandra Jessen in the 89th minute in a 2-0 home win against FF USV Jena , making her first appearance in the Bundesliga .

National team

In April 2017, Machtens played two games for the U-15 national team against the Czech Republic. With the U-16 national team , she also took part in the U-18 country cup in 2017 at the Wedau sports school and played there in two games, which, however, do not count as official international matches.
