Achim Feifel

Achim-Matthias Feifel (born August 3, 1964 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German football coach .

Career

Feifel was active as a player in the clubs SG Bettringen , 1. FC Normannia Gmünd , TSB Schwäbisch Gmünd and most recently with the upper division FC Tailfingen . After his active career, he trained several teams in the middle amateur area. His stations were 1. FC Normannia Gmünd, SV Magstadt, TSV Dagersheim, FC Victoria Gmünd and TSGV Waldstetten.

He later moved to the Württemberg Football Association and only became assistant coach of the male U-17 team. Then he took over the female U-18 with whom he won the national cup . From 2005 to 2012 he coached the Hamburger SV women's team , which he led to fifth place in his first season. On September 14, 2012 he switched to the Russian champions FK Rossijanka as head coach . On July 14, 2014, he became Bernd Schröder's assistant trainer at 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam . In October 2015 Feifel returned to HSV: There he took over the U-16 from Rodolfo Cardoso, who had previously been on leave . He has been the head coach of the Bayer Leverkusen women's team since 2019.

Feifel is a full-time certified sports teacher and holds the DFB football instructor license.
