Paweł Olkowski (born February 13, 1990 in Ozimek ) is a Polish football player who plays for the Turkish first division club Gaziantep FK .
Career
societies
Olkowski began his career in the youth of Małapanew Ozimek and moved to Gwarek Zabrze at the age of 16 , for whom he completed three seasons. In the 2009/10 season he played 25 games for Zagłębie Lubin in the highest junior league Młoda Ekstraklasa . On August 16, 2009, on the 3rd match day, he made his debut in a 2-1 win at home against Piast Gliwice and won the junior championship at the end of the season. After only one season he moved to the second division GKS Katowice , for whom he scored five goals in 31 league games. His first senior league goal was on August 13, 2010 (3rd matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the home game against Warta Poznań with the opening goal in the 14th minute. For the 2011/12 season he was signed by the first division team Górnik Zabrze , for whom he not only made his debut on July 31, 2011 (1st matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the away game against Śląsk Wrocław , but also made his debut with the opening goal in the 32nd minute scored his first first division.
For the 2014/15 season , Olkowski moved to Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln , with whom he signed a three-year contract. He made his debut on August 23, 2014 (1st matchday) in a goalless draw in the home game against Hamburger SV . On November 8, 2014 (11th matchday) he scored his first two Bundesliga goals in a 4: 3 win in the away game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim with the interim equalization to 1: 1 in the 5th and the winning goal in the 83rd minute.
At the end of the 2017/18 season , his contract in Cologne was terminated by mutual agreement. Shortly afterwards he was signed by the English second division side Bolton Wanderers .
After a year in England, Olkowski moved to Gazişehir Gaziantep FK in Turkey , where he signed a contract until the summer of 2021.
National team
Olkowski played seven times for the U-21 national team , for which he made his debut on September 2, 2011 in Korça in a 3-0 win in the European Championship qualifier against the host national team of Albania .
For the senior national team , he played his first international match on November 15, 2013 in Wroclaw in the 2-0 defeat in the international test match against Slovakia .
