Kenan Özer (born August 16, 1987 in Nicosia ) is a Cypriot - Turkish football player.
Career
society
Özer was born in Nicosia as the son of Cypriot Turks and started playing club football here. In 2003, at the age of sixteen, he joined the youth of Osmaniyespor . A year later he moved from here to the youth of Beşiktaş Istanbul . In 2006 he was discovered here by the professional trainer, Jean Tigana , and signed a professional contract at his request. On February 2, 2006 he made his professional debut in the league game against Çaykur Rizespor .
From the spring of 2007 he played in sequence as a loan player at Karşıyaka SK , İstanbulspor , Kayseri Erciyesspor and Çaykur Rizespor .
In 2010 he moved to the first division team Antalyaspor on a free transfer . After being a reservist for a year and a half here, he moved to the second division of the 2011/12 season for the second division Boluspor .
At the end of the season Özer left Boluspor again and moved to the Süper Lig promoted Akhisar Belediyespor .
In the winter transfer period 2014/15 he moved to league rivals Torku Konyaspor . After a year at Konyaspor, he moved on to second division side Adana Demirspor in January 2016 .
In summer 2015 he switched to MKE Ankaragücü . With this club he finished the third division season 2016/17 as a champion and rose to the TFF 1st Lig .
National team
Özer was nominated several times for the Turkish U-19 national team in 2006 and completed five matches for these.
