Günay Güvenç or Günay Güvenc (born July 25, 1991 in Neu-Ulm ) is a German-Turkish soccer player . He plays in the position of goalkeeper.
Career
societies
Güvenç played in his youth for SSV Ulm in 1846 and moved to the A-Juniors of the Stuttgarter Kickers in 2009 . After the winter break he gained his first experience in senior football in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg and became the substitute keeper of the first team. In the 2010/11 season, Güvenc finally completed five games for the first team in the Regionalliga Süd . In the following season Güvenc was the regular goalkeeper of the Kickers in the winter, but he was seriously injured in a home game against FC Ingolstadt II , so that he was out for a long time. On November 24, 2012, at the home game against SV Darmstadt 98 , Güvenc made his comeback after his injury and at the same time completed his first professional game in the 3rd division .
For the 2013/14 season Güvenc moved to the Turkish first division side Beşiktaş Istanbul . This club loaned Güvenç for the second half of the 2013/14 season to the Turkish second division club Adanaspor . For the 2014/15 season he was loaned to the first division club Mersin İdman Yurdu . He returned to Beşiktaş in September 2014 without playing a competitive game for Mersin İY.
His first appearance for Beşiktaş was in March 2015 against city rivals Fenerbahçe Istanbul , where he came on for the injured Tolga Zengin .
In the summer of 2016 he moved to the second division club Göztepe Izmir .
National team
In 2013 Güvenç played two games for the second selection of the Turkish national team .
