Alin Dorinel Toşca (born March 14, 1993 in Alexandria ) is a Romanian football player .
Career
Toșca started playing football at the age of seven. In 2007 he moved to the youth of Steaua Bucharest . In 2009, at the age of 16, he joined the squad of Steaua's second team, which was playing in League II at the time . In early September 2010, Unirea Urziceni was loaned to the first division , where he made his first appearances in the House of Lords in the 2010/11 season . The club got into financial difficulties during the season and Toşca finished the league with his team in penultimate place and had to relegate. He returned to Steaua, which gave him to second division AFC Săgeata Năvodari in August 2011 . There he was convincing as a regular player and in the summer of 2012 moved to the promoted FC Viitorul Constanța in the league 1. He was also able to get a permanent place in the team and secured himself with Viitorul at the end of the 2012/13 season to stay in the class. He was able to repeat this with his team in the 2013/14 season .
Toșca returned to Steaua in the summer of 2014. In the second half of the 2014/15 season he became a regular in the team of the record champions. At the end of the season he won his first title with the championship and was able to celebrate winning the double for a week by winning the 2015 cup final against Universitatea Cluj .
In January 2018 Toșca moved to Benevento Calcio on loan .
In the 2019/20 summer transfer period, he was signed by the Turkish first division club Gaziantep FK .
National team
In March 2016, Toșca was appointed to the Romanian national team for the first time by national coach Anghel Iordănescu . In the friendly against Lithuania he was used for the first time for a few minutes. In May 2016 he was part of Iordănescu's preliminary squad for the European Championship , but was ultimately not nominated. After the European Championship, he returned to the national team under the new coach Christoph Daum . On October 11, 2016, he played for the first time from the start in the World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan .
