Pazaryolu ( Turkish for market street ; Kurdish Norgeh , from Armenian norkeğ - "New Village") is a city in the district of the same name in the Turkish province of Erzurum and at the same time a district of the Büyükşehir belediyesi Erzurum (city municipality / metropolitan province ) created in 1993 . The Ilçe is located in the northwest of the province and borders the provinces of Bayburt and Rize . Pazaryolu had the lowest population of all 20 Ilçe at the end of 2018.
Pazaryolu was an independent Bucak in the İspir district until the district of the same name was formed in 1989 .
